THE WOLF 3: Principal Photography Wrapped!
The wolf is back, and things have gotten a whole lot bigger.
We’re thrilled to announce that principal photography on Sägen Film’s The Wolf 3 has officially wrapped! We’ve returned to the forests of Torup, where the previous two films were brought to life, but this time we came armed with bigger ambitions, a cast including Hasse Brontén and Mikael Riesebeck, and a fully practical werewolf with animatronic elements!
A very special shoutout to FIXAS for the incredible werewolf suit, and an extra big THANK YOU to Niklas Hermansson for helping bring this beast to life. Practical creature effects are at the very heart of what we love about genre filmmaking, and we can’t wait for you to see this thing in action!
Somewhere along the way, The Wolf 3 became our own little Halland take on Evil Dead II meets Aliens meets Terminator 2. A wild, bloody, practical effects driven love letter to the movies that made us want to become filmmakers in the first place.

Coming in autumn 2027, The Wolf 3 is both a victory lap for everything we’ve built at Sägen Film since the beginning and a taste of what’s to come as we set our sights on feature filmmaking and the future.
We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve created, and we can’t wait to unleash this beast upon the world.
