After a long and passionate journey from concept to screen, Sägen Film proudly presents our most ambitious short film to date. What began as an idea inspired by Nordic folklore, grindhouse cinema and a love for genre storytelling has grown into a full scale Christmas horror spectacle filled with action, heart and dark humor.

Christmas Of The Dead follows a reluctant teenager, a battle hardened believer and an undead priest as ancient folklore collides with modern chaos. The film blends action, horror and comedy with practical effects, heavy sound design and a relentless pace, all wrapped in a twisted holiday spirit.

This production has been a true collaborative effort. From intense shooting days and carefully choreographed action, to months of post production focused on music, sound design, visual effects and atmosphere, every frame has been shaped with care. The film represents everything Sägen Film stands for: genre cinema driven by passion, teamwork and a love for bold storytelling.

The release also marks the end of a chapter that has been shared closely with our community. Through a successful Kickstarter campaign, behind the scenes updates and open communication, Christmas Of The Dead was built together with its audience. That support allowed the film to grow stronger in every stage of production, and we are deeply grateful for everyone who helped make it possible.

The film is now available to watch on our YouTube channel, and we warmly invite both new viewers and longtime supporters to experience it. If you enjoy the film, sharing it, commenting and spreading the word helps independent filmmaking thrive and reach new audiences.

Christmas Of The Dead is now live.

Merry Christmas!
